Table S1: unannotated human proteins, PROST analysis

864 human proteins without a characterized function were searched against SwissProt (March 2022) with both BLAST and PROST at an e-value cutoff of 0.05. Where a characterized homolog was found, the two structures were superposed with FATCAT to confirm the match.

• Homolog — the best characterized homolog found.
• Source — which tool(s) found it: PROST, BLAST, or both.
• Function — the homolog's annotated function.
• FATCAT p-val — significance of the structural superposition.
• Seq. Id. — sequence identity of the alignment.
